One thing - ETH 1 is currently a Shard on the Beacon Chain.

On the test net now 9 months ago we were running a POS Shard at 3 thousand transactions a second.

There are 64 shards 64 times 3k - Over 1,0000 transactions a second.

Which alternative can compete with 4 second transaction for 4 cents on a Public Consensys Algo?
